Trivia with Nat Boltt and Adam Croasdell

Grab your thinking hats, friends of orangutans, as we have an online trivia event like you’ve never seen before. Join us as we dive into a jam-packed event full of exciting questions centered around the environment, our beloved orange cousins, and more!

We’re also excited to announce we have two international superstars in Nat Boltt and Adam Croasdell supporting the event as our special guest hosts. They’ll be there to talk about their love of all things orangutan and to answer some of your big questions. We’ll even have some special trivia questions their fans will jump at the chance to answer!

Event length
The contest will go for 90 minutes, followed by a Q&A with Nat Boltt, Adam Croasdell and Founder of The Orangutan Project Leif Cocks. We’ll also award certificates to the winning team!

Natt Bollt

Director and actor Nat Boltt is known for her dynamism, humor and enthusiastic work ethic. She currently appears on CW's hit series, Riverdale, Ron Howard's The Astronauts and Neill Blomkamp's latest film, Demonic. Nat is most recognisable as Riverdale’s meanest mother, Penelope Blossom, and she just directed Riverdale’s Season 5 highest rated episode, 'Dance of Death’. Known for her acting range, she is recognized for both comedic and dramatic abilities, is multi-lingual and proficient in many accents. District 9; BBC's Inspector George Gently; CBS comedy Happy Together and action thriller 24 Hours To Live with Ethan Hawke are a few of her acting highlights.

Boltt is an environmental and human rights activist with a following in the millions. An alumna of the Warner Brothers Directors Workshop, her feature debut is slated for 2021. This film, Holy Days, which Boltt adapted for the screen, received support and acclaim from The New Zealand Film Commission, the Writers Guild of New Zealand and Melbourne Film Festival's international Talent Express panel.

Adam Croasdell

Adam Croasdell is an actor, writer, producer and environmental activist who was born and raised in Africa. He has lived and worked extensively in Britain and the United States. His first professional theatre job was performing with Dame Helen Mirren and Alan Rickman in Anthony and Cleopatra at the National Theatre in London. Adam has worked on London's West End and appeared in numerous British television shows; notably in Peak Practice, The Chase, EastEnders, and Agatha Christie's Poirot. 

Adam currently resides in Los Angeles where he is known for his work on Preacher, Reign, Once Upon A Time, NCIS, NCIS:LA, and Supernatural. Adam has starred and guest starred in films for Universal and Sony. Adam is also a voice artist, performing lead characters for major video game franchises such as Fallout, 007, Dead Island, Middle Earth, and notably, as Ignis Scientia in Final Fantasy XV. Adam is nominated for 3 BTVA Video Game Voice Acting Awards, including Best Male Performance for Final Fantasy XV. He’s also recurring in Monarch, a new show on Fox premiering in February 2022.

Leif Cocks

The Orangutan Project was established in 1998 by founder and world-renowned orangutan expert, Leif Cocks, as a result of his almost 30 year career working with orangutans. Leif is a passionate campaigner for orangutans and has been the leader of The Orangutan Project since its inception.

Leif’s years in the field have earned him respect within the conservation field. He has been a key player in developing conservation plans for orangutans and influencing positive change for orangutan protection and survival. This includes the first ever successful reintroduction of the zoo-born orangutan. This respect has given The Orangutan Project world standing in conservation.

A small population biologist and curator by trade; Leif has several academic qualifications, including a Masters of Science studying orangutans. He is a seasoned public speaker and has published several papers on orangutans in peer-reviewed journals. Leif is also the author of the books Orangutans and their Battle for Survival (2002) and, Amazon best seller, Orangutans My Cousins, My Friends(2016) and Finding our Humanity (2019).

Amongst many roles, Leif is currently: a Technical Advisor for PT Alam Bukit Tigapuluh (a company leasing and protecting rainforest), Head of International Elephant Project, head of International Tiger Project, Vice President of Orang Utan Republik Foundation and on the Advisory Board for Forest, Nature and Environment of Aceh.

In respect to his professional, animal, human and financial management skills, Leif has been the longest standing member of the Australasian Species Management Program; a Quarantine-Approved Assessor; Zoo Husbandry Adviser; Zoo Accreditation Officer; UN GRASP in-country point of contact, an International Species Coordinator, International Studbook Keeper and the Chair of a World Aquarium and Zoo Association global conservation program.
