Leif Cocks recently took Studio 10's Robbo and some of the crew to one of our rescue projects in the forests of Sumatra to explain just what we do, and why we're so compelled to do it.
Sumatra is just north of Australia, however it's still a long journey to reach this unique forest, a trip that includes several flights and travel through dense forest in heavy-duty four wheel drives. It's part of the remoteness of this area that protects it. This forest is the home to orangutans, tigers, elephants and many other animals, not to mention the indigenous people who still rely on the forest for their survival. This is what The Orangutan Project is protecting with the help of donors.
The Orangutan Project invited Studio 10 to visit this area so they could share with their viewers the valuable projects we support. You can protect these magestic animals very easily by adopting Kedaung or purchasing Leif's book below. You can also keep in touch with what we do by signing up to our newsletter or, if you have any specific questions, feel free to contact us.
