Other ways to fundraise

There are many other ways you can fundraise for The Orangutan Project! We'd love to hear your ideas - so feel free to get in touch and we'll help you make your vision a reality. Here are some ideas to get you started:

• Place donation boxes around your local shops and cafes (see our Donation Box page for info)
• Sell Christmas gifts, potted plants or handicrafts at markets or local shops and donate profits
• Sell our merchandise at your shop or school
• See icy poles, chocolates or other delicious items through your school or work 
• Do a physical challenge and ask for donations
• Organise a bake sale at school or work
• Sell secondhand items online via Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree or eBay
• Sell good quality items through online auctions 
• Sell doggie biscuits at markets or shops

The options are endless! Get in touch with the Volunteers Fundraising Manager if you have an idea and are not sure where or how to start.

To make some of these a reality, you may need to set up an online fundraiser through Chuffed.org. Again, we can help you make this look great with photos, text or even videos!

Alternatively, you can raise the funds in your own way and deposit them straight into our bank account as a general donation. Just reach out and let us know what you need to make your fundraising really special.
