After a fabulous year of fundraising in 2014 the new year will have a lot to live up to and we’re up for the challenge! Our awesome volunteers and the ACT community joined us at some great events to help raise a steady flow of funds.
We had school presentations and fundraisers including Girl Guides and Brownies, RSPCA million paws walk, a book launch, an evening with Leif Cocks and Matt Hunt, Living Green Festival, dinner with Julian Cribb, ANU Twilight Festival, and lots of stalls.
November 2014 saw a solid month of activity with $3,000 raised, and market stalls were a feature in December to round out 2014. Check us out on Facebook through the Orangutan Project Canberra and see what’s happening in real time.
One of our feature events in February is the Canberra Multicultural Festival for “a kaleidoscope of colours, sounds, sights, flavours and fun”. We look forward to staying in touch and seeing you in 2015!
