MEETING ON MARCH 21ST
Our Meeting at The Great Southern Hotel was the best one yet, with 15 attending, including 2 lovely new ladies, Gabriella & Penny. Deb bought her homemade soaps & some photos of orangutans in frames which she sold, Jenny sold crew t/shirts, and a toy, so we also raised $200! We discussed the following ways we are fundraising for May:
Stall at Hornsby Mall:
Deb, Peter, Lynda and Anne will be holding a stall the week before Mother's Day, thanks guys!
Million Paws RSPCA Walk Stalls:
Jenny. Katherine, Phoebe, Gill, Dawn & Leoni will help at Homebush RSPCA Million Paws Walk on 17th May. Michelle Klohs is also doing one in Wollongong, & Megan is doing one in Moruya with our pamphlets. Thanks so much everyone!
CALICO BAGS FOR NSW:
Lynda and Peter are creating a brand new gorgeous TOP calico bag for us in NSW to sell at all our events! More about this in the next enews, once all approved.
ART EXHIBITION:
I have organised our art exhibition for May 23rd & 24th May, at The Gardens on Forest, at Peakhurst, 764 Forest Rd. We will have 20 beautiful paintings by well known artists for sale, complimentary champagne, Devonshire tea, merchandise, baby orangutan adoptions, lucky door prizes & a raffle! We will create a lovely orangutan sanctuary for you to come & relax and listen to free entertainment as well as help save our orange apes from extinction. Please RSVP to me on gail.browning@orangutan.org.au or 0405 170 712. Please see ourEvents Page for poster, prices, & tickets.
Please contact me if you would like to join our fabulous TOP team!
